LEAN offers group exercise and bespoke training routines in the best way to achieve fitness, and flexibility. We use TRX and Sports Yoga, the most effective combination for transforming you, suitable for all ages and abilities.
TRX stands for Total Body Resistance Exercise, a suspension system involving straps designed by ex-Navy Seal Randy Hetrick, to enable soldiers to exercise anywhere and anytime for combat readiness. It makes it possible to do a variety of body weight exercises to keep in peak condition.
Sports Yoga is based on the practice of Yoga, an ancient form of exercise in which you move your body in various positions in order to become more fit and flexible, and to improve your breathing and relax your mind. We call the Combination of TRX and Sports Yoga Functional Training. TRX is done on the straps, and Yoga on the mat and together they offer the very best way to get fit, flexible and achieve your optimum body.
But don’t worry if that sounds a bit daunting. Here at LEAN we promise that anybody can use the TRX and do Sports Yoga. The combination is a brilliant way of exercising, getting fit, rehabilitating after injury, and it’s fun. We combine TRX with Sports Yoga to transform you in ways you can’t imagine.

”I started TRX suspension training about two years ago after I had retired and suffered with persistent back issues for much of my working life. I saw a few physiotherapists when I had my injury and working with them and in conjunction with Lucinda on the TRX, I am so much better now.
